Acer announces Predator gaming PC Orion 9000, which was named “the most powerful gaming PC to date,” writes the Verge. The publication notes that, in addition to the specification, the audience was really impressed with the wheels, the chassis is equipped for ease of movement — in the manner of a suitcase.
Predator Orion 9000 will go on sale in North America in December at a price of $1999. In November it will be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at a price of 1999 euros.
The hardware basis for Predator Orion 9000 was 18-core and 36-threaded processor Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition. PC has up to 128 GB of RAM type DDR4 in 4-channel mode. The user can install up to four graphics cards AMD Radeon RX Vega, or two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti in SLI.
The body is made in the shape of a pyramid. In PCs have liquid cooling also inside the case there is space to install up to five 120 mm coolers. Thanks to the cooler air flows will travel between the so-called thermal zones for which the space of the housing is divided by technology Acer IceTunnel 2.0. Each zone has its own tunnel for airflow displacing heat. Part of the air flow is redirected to the rear of the motherboard tray to cool the storage devices.
