There’s really no such thing as an “ordinary” Aston Martin, but for those who want something a little more special than the current spectacular lineup of dream cars from the legendary British manufacturer there’s now the DB11 AMR, which is the first model from the new performance arm of Aston Martin. The Aston Martin DB11 AMR is the new flagship in the company’s GT range, and it replaces the standard V12 in the automaker’s portfolio. By combining that extra power with improved shift calibration of the eight-speed automatic gearbox, the AMR has knocked 0.2 seconds off the DB11’s 0 to 60 mph time, so it now takes just 3.7 seconds to get to 60 mph from a standing start.
