The robot is fixed by means of two special ring-shaped fixtures, which are slowly “pull” the esophagus, stretching it in the right direction. The experiments on animals were able to achieve tissue grows to 2.5 millimeters in 24 hours. While animals showed no signs of discomfort, and the body retained its diameter.
