Former first Vice-Premier of the Crimean government Mikhail Sheremet said that in the framework of the commissioning work commenced supply of gas through the new pipeline from the Krasnodar territory on the Peninsula.

He stressed that very soon the pipeline will be transferred to normal operation.

“There is enough gas, the pressure is sufficient, so I think that soon, in a short time, “SGM” finished commissioning”, – quotes the words of Sheremet Agency “RIA Novosti”.

The official noted that the previously entered schedules of restriction of gas supply to large industrial enterprises of the Republic has been practically applied.

Recall that in late 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the start of the supply of “blue fuel” to the Peninsula from the mainland.

The length of the pipeline Krasnodar region-Crimea is 358,7 km. On completion of construction, Vladimir Putin said at a press conference on December 23. After starting the gas supply on the Peninsula will also begin construction of two power plants with a capacity of 470 MW each.
