USM Holdings Alisher Usmanov has signed a sponsorship contract with football club “Everton”, which belongs to his partner Farhad Moshiri
Liverpool football club Everton announced on the conclusion of the sponsorship contract with USM Holdings Alisher Usmanov. Everton belongs to the partner of Russian billionaire, co-owner and head of the Board of Directors of USM Farhad Moshiri.
Under the terms of a five-year contract training base, “Everton” will now be called USM Finch Farm. In addition, the USM receives a package of marketing rights, including the rights to advertising on the stadium Everton Goodison Park on match days. The amount of the contract not disclosed.
According to a member of the Board of Directors USM Ivan streshenskogo, renaming Finch Farm base, and marketing rights will provide USM with access to a global media. This is also stated in the message of the club.
As noted by Bloomberg, the funds will help Everton FC to build a new stadium. The club is trying to get permission for the construction of the docks in Liverpool. Farhad Moshiri gave the club an interest-free loan of 80 million pounds. The annual income of “Everton” of 121.5 million pounds.
