Former adviser of the President wished success to his successor
The white house issued a statement of the former US presidential Advisor for national security Herbert McMaster, officially left his post at the end of this week.
“It has been my honor to serve as national security Advisor to President Donald trump,” said McMaster, adding that the main task in this position he considers “the protection of Americans and ensuring America’s prosperity, the preservation of peace by demonstrating the power and spread American influence.”
The General also referred to the principal, in his view, foreign policy accomplishments of the administration over the past year. These include a new approach to solving the “nuclear issue” of North Korea, the confrontation of economic aggression of Beijing, a successful fight against militants of the Islamic state in the middle East, strengthening NATO and “tough stance” against Iran.
“The United States and our allies demanded that Russia be accountable for their destabilizing actions, at the same time, leaving open the possibility for future cooperation”, – said Herbert McMaster.
Former adviser of the President thanked the staff of the Council of national security of the United States and wished success to his successor, John Bolton.
