US Ambassador to the UN made in the run-up to the vote on trump’s decision on the status of Jerusalem
US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley spoke to held at the UN General Assembly vote on a resolution condemning the recent decision of the US President Donald trump on the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the transfer of the U.S. Embassy in the country from tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The resolution voted by 125 countries, against – 9.
35 countries abstained.
“The United States will remember this day, when the General Assembly we are under attack for using his legitimate right, (which we have) as a sovereign state,” said Nikki Haley.
“The United States will open an Embassy in Jerusalem,’ she continued. Is what the Americans want, and this is the right step. This vote will not affect our decision. However, this vote can change America’s attitude to the UN and countries which have shown disrespect to us. And this vote we will remember. Thank you!”!
Recently the US vetoed Egypt prepared a draft resolution of the UN Security Council, condemning the decision of the President of the trump.
