Members of Congress from the democratic party called for the establishment of an independent Commission modeled on the one that was involved in the September 2001 attacks, to investigate allegations of Russian interference in the elections of 2016, according to Reuters.
The authors proposed the adoption of “Law on the protection of our democracy” which would create an independent Commission of representatives of the two major parties of 12 people. The members of the Commission must not be members of Congress, the Agency said.

Republican senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain stated that he would submit to Congress a draft “seiberlich” of sanctions against Russia in connection with accusations of cyber-attacks. “I am confident that Congress will approve new sanctions. Don’t know whether the sign of their [elected] President of the trump. But if two-thirds of us will vote for it, they will become law,” said McCain.
