According to the calculations of independent sellers of gasoline in the first quarter of 2017, the marginality of their business dropped to almost zero, writes “Kommersant” with reference to the presentation of the company “Independent fuel Union” (STC).

According to the calculations of NTS, the profitability of sales of petroleum products in retail, which in the previous two years of just over 2 thousand rubles. per 1 ton of fuel, in the first quarter of 2017 fell to 8 rubles. for 1 ton (without VAT).

In the presentation of the independent fuel sellers says that in 2007-2009, the marginality of their business amounted to 25-26%, in 2014 it has fallen to 13%, and in 2015-2016 amounted to 17-18%.

According to the interlocutor of RBC in the company, nearly the whole network of petrol stations of LUKOIL in Orenburg, Vladimir, Kostroma, Orel, Bryansk regions and the portion of the assets in the Moscow region and in the Chuvash Republic.

The source in LUKOIL the main reason for this step is called the fall in the profitability of retail. The interlocutor of RBC called almost identical with the data of NTS numbers: in 2016, the average margin of petrol stations in these regions reached 2 thousand RUB from 1 ton of sold fuel, and according to preliminary results of the first quarter of 2017 due to the tax maneuver and increase the excise tax fell to 250 — fold to 8 rubles. for 1 ton

According to the interlocutor of RBC in LUKOIL, an acceptable level of profitability of the filling stations in these regions would be achieved if the government is allowed to raise the price to 5 rubles. per 1 L.
