“Kaspersky lab” will not cooperate with Europol

“Kaspersky lab” has carried out a reversal in the direction of Russia and decided not to cooperate with European law enforcement agencies, including Europol. This is due to the recently adopted European Parliament resolution on strengthening the protection of Russia, China and North Korea. The resolution, according to lawyers Kaspersky Lab, contains “untrue and based on false claims” clause, which stated that the software “Kaspersky Lab” potentially dangerous.

While the company will not receive “a clear official explanation from the European Parliament”, in cooperation with Europol will not.

We will remind also that recently the company-developer of the world’s most popular antivirus left without explanation, forbidden to advertise in Twitter. Also, the US government was accused of “Kaspersky Lab” in ties with Russian secret services. In 2017, us government agencies were forbidden to use this antivirus. And in may 2018, under the pretext of protection from cibachrome Russia, “aimed against the Netherlands and their interests,” the use of Kaspersky anti-virus refused, the authorities of this country.

European Parliament resolution on cyber defence was adopted on 13 June. The document calls for the creation of the European rapid response team for cybersecurity amid “malicious cyber attacks on critical infrastructure in the EU”, for which, according to the parliamentarians, are Russia, China and North Korea, reports “Interfax”.
