According to Valentina Matvienko, this kind of conference can become intellectual centers for the development of new approaches to counter-terrorism. The speaker said that today Russia and the West need a new interaction formats.

— No nation can feel secure from international terrorism and the recent terrorist attack in London proved that.

Russia was fighting terrorism in Syria, and cooperation with the United States in this matter it did not happen. But the Russian group managed to do more than us, — said Martynov.

The President of Fund “the Petersburg policy” Michael Vinogradov does not exclude the possibility of joint redeclaration actions of Russia and the West in the fight against terrorism.
