Russia increased oil production in 2016 of 2.5% compared to 2015 – to 547,5 million tons, according to the materials of the Central Supervisory control energy (CDU TEK).

Oil production in the country in December increased by 3.5% compared to the same period in 2015 to 47.4 million tonnes.

Oil exports from Russia for 2016 also increased. The index rose by 4.8% to 253,96 million tons. In December oil exports rose by 3.5 percent to 20.97 million tonnes.

Oil exports via the Transneft system in foreign countries for the year increased by 4.8% to 201.2 million tons. Taking into account the transit of resources, the export of oil by pipeline increased by 4.9% and amounted to 221,1 million tons.
