Poroshenko has appointed a new head of intelligence of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine

The new head of intelligence of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine was Vasily Burba. His predecessor Valery Kondratyuk decree Poroshenko transferred to the presidential Administration

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed a new head of the intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defence. They became Vasily Burba. The corresponding decree published on the official website of the President.

“Schedule Burba Vasily Vasilyevich chief of the Main intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine”, — stated in the order.

The former head of intelligence of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine Valery Kondratyuk became Deputy head of the presidential Administration, transfers “112 Ukraine”. In 2014-2015 Kondratyuk was the head of the counterintelligence Department of the security Service of Ukraine.

The previous head of the presidential Administration Andriy Taranov died in Kiev in mid-September. The man was riding a jet ski on the Dnipro river and crashed into a barrier.

This year Ukraine has seen several major shifts in the country’s armed forces. In April he was dismissed from his post the head of the Ukrainian naval forces Sergey Gayduk. Poroshenko explained that the solution to shortcomings in the performance of official duties and low credibility among service personnel.

In July, the new head of the Navy became Lieutenant-General Igor Voronchenko. He was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral. Poroshenko said that Voronchenko has done everything possible to “preserve military equipment and withdrawal of personnel its part of the mainland” during the events in Crimea.

In addition, in March was appointed the new commander of the Ground troops. They became Sergey Popko, who until his appointment was the head of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) in the conflict zone in the Donbass.
