Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the presidential administration, the Ministry of justice and the Council on human rights to study law enforcement practices in the activities of NGOs funded by the state. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
Report on the analysis of the actions of non-profit organizations should be submitted no later than March 30, 2017.
“To perform the law enforcement practice connected with activity of noncommercial organizations implementing socially useful services, which have received financial support at the expense of budgetary appropriations of the Federal budget, budgets of constituent entities of the country, local budgets”, — stated in the message on the website of the Kremlin.
However, the head of state instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and the presidential administration to study the development of the project “Transparent education system,” which is a non-profit organization “Agency for strategic initiatives to promote new projects”. Analysis of the activities of NGOs should be submitted no later than 1 March.
