In “Rosneft” have declared that carry out transactions with foreign partners in accordance with international law. So the company commented on the reports about the lawsuit against “daughter” of “Rosneft” — the company Rosneft Trading S. A.
In a press-service of Rosneft said that the company’s transactions with foreign partners is carried out in accordance with international law, is spoken in the messagepublished on the website of the company.
“All transactions of Rosneft with foreign partners is carried out in accordance with international law and those legal regimes within which these transactions are carried out”, — stated in the message.
Earlier it became known that the canadian gold mining company Crystallex filed a lawsuit in the controlled Rosneft, the Swiss trading company, Rosneft Trading S. A. Crystallex lawsuit with accusations of “fraudulent transfer of assets” (fraudulent transfer under the laws of the state of Delaware, where the claim is made). The reason was the deal with the oil company of Venezuela, Petróleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA).
In November 2016, Rosneft Trading received a lien on a 49.9% stake in us operator Citgo refinery, controlled by PDVSA. As claimed in claim Crystallex, stocks could be providing a loan of $1.5 billion from Rosneft in favor of PDVSA. The representative of “Rosneft” Alexander Terentyev Thursday, January 5, did not respond to calls to RBC, the press service of “Rosneft” also has not replied to a written request.
