Sberbank wants to work with customers via WhatsApp


Russia’s largest Bank interested in messengers as a new channel of work with clients. As reported “Interfax” with reference to the purchase documentation Bank, the savings Bank has requested proposals to study the possibility of providing banking services in the chat applications.

In particular, we are talking about apps, WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Messenger. From the organizers of the study in the savings Bank expect that they will study the potential implementation of new services in instant messengers on the leading mobile platforms: Android and iOS. The company, which will be the project consultant, will develop prototypes of applications bots for banking services through messengers.

In the same item of procurement documentation Sberbank announced to order another two studies. One of them concerns the use of wireless technology iBeacon for remittances, and second, direct transfers of funds between the customers of the Bank. The completion date identified in the procurement documentation as of December 31, 2016, and to pay for research Sberbank is ready a total of 4.4 million rubles.
