Heart, no doubt, is one of the most important organs of the human body, because when it stops beating – a man ceases to exist. To monitor the status of this body for many years, used electrocardiography (ECG), but this procedure is quite uncomfortable and lengthy. However, the inventors of the South Ural state University (SUSU) presented a highly sensitive recorder, which can remove the electrocardiogram through several layers of clothing. Moreover, based on this sensor you can even create clothes, which will record the heart.

On the basis of a new technology Chelyabinsk made a t-shirt that monitors heart function. It consists of fabric with conductive silver threads, and the “inside” placed a small ECG module with controller and battery. Data is transmitted via Bluetooth to any device, whether smartphone, tablet or fitness tracker. Scientists have created such a device primarily for athletes. As stated by the Professor of the Institute of sport, tourism and service SUSU Mr Kotkin,

“The athletes every day are experiencing serious fiznagruzki, so it is especially important to constantly monitor their health. T-shirt time will tell the athlete when to relax, reduce the load or tempo and fatigue is too high. This will help to improve athletic performance and prevent health problems”.
