The discontent of the legislator called the resolution condemning the administration’s decision to trump
Influential Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on Friday criticized the United Nations, threatening that next year, us lawmakers can review the funding of the UN.
“I don’t really care when the United Nations expressed dissatisfaction with American foreign policy, conducting a non-binding vote in the General Assembly,” the Senator wrote in his “Twitter”, commenting on the adoption of a resolution condemning the U.S. decision on recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“But it really BOTHERS me that we give money to American taxpayers: inefficient the UN is weak in the face of evil, the UN, increasingly anti-Semitic UN. We will deal with these problems in 2018,” wrote Lindsey Graham.
Tweets of the Senator-Republican appeared the next day after the 128 member States of the UN, among whom were the closest allies of the United States, voted for a resolution strongly condemning the decision of the President of trump to move the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.
Previously, Lindsey Graham and Republican Senator Ted Cruz co-sponsored a bill providing for drastic reduction of the financing of the United Nations in response to the adoption of a resolution condemning the construction of Jewish settlements in Israel.
