Daniel Kammen said that the President’s refusal to condemn white nationalists is part of the “wider behaviors”
One of the three special envoys of the state Department for science has said publicly about the resignation.
Daniel Kammen has continued a series of resignations in connection with the reaction of the President of the United States Donald trump at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Professor, University of California at Berkeley, Kammen tweeted the letter, which noted that the failure of trump to denounce supporters of white supremacist and neo-Nazis is part of “a broader pattern of behavior that condones sexism and racism, and ignores the well-being of all Americans, the world community and the planet.”
Last week, trump told reporters that responsibility for the conflict between white nationalists and participants of counter-demonstration in Virginia on 12 August, which culminated in the violence are “both sides”.
