The President of the United States Donald trump and his wife Melania on Monday held in the White house the 140th holiday of skiing Easter eggs is an annual event in which thousands of children and parents spend the day at the family entertainment on the South lawn of the presidential residence.
The President and first lady took more than 21,000 guests who have been invited according to the results of an open lottery held in February. The party lasted almost the whole day.
Addressing the gathering, the President thanked the first lady, the official hostess of the celebration, noting that she has done “incredible” work.
He also used this opportunity to celebrate the achievements in the field of economy and defense.
“This is a special year, our country shows excellent results, the President said. – Let’s see what happens with the economy. Nothing’s ever easy, but we have never had such an economy, both now and in the future we will make it even bigger, better and stronger. Our armed forces will soon reach unprecedented levels. You see what happens. You see what happens with the funding. The funding of our armed forces is very important, so here with us today as many troops. Just imagine 700 billion dollars this year will get our armed forces”.
The President also commented on the situation with the Program of deferred action for arrivals children in the United States, which was designed to provide temporary protection from deportation to hundreds of thousands of immigrants illegally brought into the United States in childhood.
Trump canceled the program last year, but requested the Congress for six months to pass the bill to protect these immigrants from deportation. While agreement on this issue could not be reached, and the President on Monday again blamed the Democrats.
