Earlier, foreign Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault admitted that the summit of “Norman Quartet” may take place in Paris simultaneously with the visit to the French capital, Putin, scheduled for October 19.

Sunday, October 9, the President of France Francois Hollande unexpectedly announced that while “asks”whether or not to take Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Paris, which is scheduled for October 19.

After this statement French President Peskov said that the Kremlin continues preparation for the forthcoming Putin’s visit to Paris. According to him, France was not notified about the possible cancellation of the meeting between the two leaders. He noted that in the framework of Putin’s visit to Paris scheduled talks at the Elysee Palace, the Russian President will also participate in the opening of the Russian spiritual center.

“Other information from our French colleagues do not have, and outcome of this” — said Peskov then.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of France Jean-Marc Ayrault in an interview with France Inter Radio said that Paris will appeal to the international court to investigate possible war crimes in Syria. “We do not agree with what Russia is doing, causing air strikes on Aleppo. As never before France seeks to save the people of Aleppo,” — said the French Minister.

In addition, he noted that the French President will take into account the situation in Aleppo as it will deal with the question about meeting with the Russian leader on 19 October. “If the President decides [to meet with Putin], there will be no pleasantries,” added the French foreign Minister.
