Introduction Belarus visa-free regime for citizens of 80 countries internal affair of the state. This was stated press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov in a briefing on Tuesday.

“This is absolutely an internal affair of Belarus, and, of course, there is the aspect of our Union state, but we are convinced that all the necessary modes were taken into account when making this decision,” he told reporters.

A Kremlin spokesman added that “in making such decisions, of course, rebuilt the whole process thus, to avoid projection of such a visa-free regime” on the Russian border.

On the eve it became known that Belarus sets a five-day visa-free regime for citizens of 80 countries, including USA and EU. The corresponding decree was signed by President Alexander Lukashenko. The document will come into force one month after publication.
