Rospotrebnadzor has ordered to withdraw from circulation dairy products produced at the plant “Yuriev Polsky” in the Vladimir region in connection with the detection of FMD virus, to the letter of the Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare in Moscow, which is available to RBC. The company is a subsidiary of JSC “Holding company “opolie”, included in holding “Vimm-the bill-Dann” which in turn is owned by PepsiCo.
“During unplanned events in relation to JSC “holding company “opolie” branch “Dairy plant “Yuryev-Polsky” found that in the period from 01.10.2016 year 19.10.2016 years produced dairy products in the amount of 5824,5 tons, permitted to turnover 1993,8 tons. Subject to withdrawal from circulation 3830,8 tons”, — stated in the letter.
On Friday, October 21, a letter was sent to the managers of network trading companies, OOO “Attacks”, JSC “Dixie South”, JSC “TORGOVYY Dom “Perekrestok”, OOO “Auchan” and “bill.”
Under the ban came yogurt, select, and drinking pasteurized milk and yogurt in all types of packaging. As reported by the press service of PepsiCo, the farm CPA was not a major supplier of the plant. Every day it’s delivered to the plant 6-7 tonnes of milk, whereas the total volume of processed raw materials in Opole is 220-230 tons a day, said the representative of PepsiCo.
At the moment the milk VKV on the company is not supplied, assured RBC representative of “Holding company “opolie”. According to him, the company works closely with the Rosselkhoznadzor and Rospotrebnadzor and holds all the necessary preventive measures. “Despite the fact that we believe in the security of our products, we decided to follow the recommendations of the CPS and to withdraw from circulation dairy products which was produced HC Opole in the period from 1 to October 19, 2016”, — said the interlocutor of RBC.
