The test took place the day after the launch of North Korean missiles
The U.S. Navy Wednesday successfully shot down a ballistic missile medium-range off the coast of Hawaii as part of the audit of the defense system after another missile test in North Korea.
According to the statement, the Navy, the crew of the American military ship “successfully carried out a complex defense test”.
The Director of the missile defense Agency Lieutenant General Sam greaves said: “We will continue to develop the technologies of missile defense, to stay ahead of the threat as it develops”.
On Tuesday, Pyongyang launched a ballistic missile over Japan’s territory. This is not the first launch of North Korean missiles towards Japan. Missiles launched by North Korea, most of them fell in the sea of Japan.
