The Director of National intelligence of the United States: a hostile actors are attacking the information infrastructure of the United States
Director of National intelligence Dan Coates warned that critical elements of the information infrastructure of the United States are under threat. He added: “alarming red signals burn again”.
According to Coates, the U.S. is already under attack by foreign actors, among which the most active is Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, which “permeate our digital infrastructure and commit various kibervtorzheniyu and attacks against targets in the United States.”
Coates said: “Russia was the most aggressive among the state actors, there is no doubt about it. And they continue efforts to undermine our democracy.”
The Director of National intelligence has compared the current situation with the situation before the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 on new York and Washington.
