The white house announced that the President of the United States Donald trump and Chinese President XI Jinping during a Friday telephone conversation reiterated their common commitment to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
According to the statement, the leaders of both countries are unanimous in the opinion that the new resolution of the UN Security Council against North Korea is an important and necessary step towards achieving peace and stability in the region. It is also reported that the presidents reaffirmed their commitment to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, stressing that North Korea must stop its provocative and increases tension action.
Earlier on Friday, trump made the DPRK another warning, stating that the us military are “in full combat readiness”. In turn, Pyongyang charged that the US President puts the Korean Peninsula to the brink of nuclear war.
Trump also re-acted against possible threats or actions of the DPRK towards the island of GUAM, declaring: “If anything happens to GUAM, North Korea will be in big, big trouble.” Earlier Pyongyang threatened to send missiles in the direction of this American territory in the Pacific ocean, which is one of the largest US military bases.
