Donald trump has signed a decree that cancels the accepted Barack Obama’s action to combat climate change. The US President called the theory of global warming “a hoax”

The US President Donald trump has signed a decree that revises adopted by the Obama administration “clean power Plan”, under which States were required to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, reports The Associated Press.

In accordance with this decree will also cut the budget of the Agency for environmental protection of the United States, and the rules for the coal, gas and oil industry are subject to revision.

“All we need to bring back our jobs, our dreams and once again make America rich [country],” said trump during a ceremony at the headquarters of the Agency for the protection of the environment.

In addition, the decree provides for a review of control measures for methane reduction in oil and natural gas.

In late February, the Washington Post, citing sources wrote that trump plans to sign a document, which removes restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions for utilities.

Among other plans trump was the desire to change the “Rule of the water resources of the United States”, approved by Obama in 2015. The provision applies to 60% of water objects of the country and restricts the work of enterprises, which can pollute the environment.

During the election campaign, trump criticized the U.S. effort to use a program to combat climate change. He called the theory of climate change “Scam”. In his view, it was developed by the Chinese to destroy American industry.

Among the campaign promises trump was out of the Paris climate agreement. It was signed at the end of 2015, 196 countries, including the United States. The document suggests that by 2020 developing countries will receive $100 billion a year for climate solutions. These funds they have to allocate to other signatory States to the Treaty.

However, in late February, The Wall Street Journal reported that trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who is an adviser to the American President, convinced the US President not to come out of the Paris climate agreement. Ivanka trump and Kushner believe that the problems of ecology and the issue of changing climates has to be the priority directions in work of administration of the President of the United States.
