A group of senators has launched a legislative initiative in support of spectacular
The US President Donald trump on Thursday rejected media reports that he planned to dismiss spectacular Robert Mueller late last year.
Mueller was charged with investigating reports of Russian intervention in the US presidential election in 2016. Previously, the American intelligence community concluded that the intervention took place. Moscow denies it.
Team Mueller is also investigating whether there was collusion campaign trump with Russia. Trump has repeatedly denied the possibility of such collusion.
The President has repeatedly criticized spectracolor Mueller, and on Wednesday, he blamed him for the deterioration of relations between Washington and Moscow.
On Tuesday the newspaper “new York times” reported that President trump was going to fire spectracolor Mueller in December. On Thursday, in response, trump tweeted: “If I wanted to fire Robert Mueller in December, according to the Failed new York times, I would have fired him”.
On Wednesday, a bipartisan group of senators have acted with the legislative initiative, which is designed to protect Mueller and his investigation. The Senate judiciary Committee will consider the document next week.
