The state Department said the US since December 31, come from the international organization for education, science and culture
United States from December 31 to come out of UNESCO, a specialized Agency of the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization, said Tuesday the state Department.
“This decision was difficult to make. It reflects the concerns of States about their growing debts to UNESCO, the need for fundamental reforms in the organization and the continuing anti-Israel bias in UNESCO,” the statement reads.
The state Department added that the U.S. will continue cooperation with the organization for the rights of observer state to share their views and experience.
